Why use an air filter to fill pressure bottles or cartridges?
When working with compressed air, water condensation occurs, which can get into the pressure bottles or cartridges of air (PCP) rifles if the compressor is of poor quality. This condensed water causes corrosion in the pressure bottles, which significantly reduces their service life and at the same time negatively affects the shooting itself.
The air filter removes excess moisture from the air, which among other things contributes to extending the lifespan of your equipment.
The use of a filter is always advisable, but is especially recommended where filling is done via poor quality compressors of dubious origin.
The filter itself is fitted with a quick coupling on one side and a 1/8 BSP (G1/8) female thread on the other. It is therefore easy to insert into the filling system.
It is a very comfortable solution to fill PCP air guns from a pressure bottle with the certainty that the air is dry.
